Of all the myriad museums in Kaunas this one is terrifically inspiring no matter what your age. Three floors of various devils interwoven with Lithuanian legends make for an exciting visit, and while it won't sap much of your intellectual energy it's definitely worth the time. Special bonus: machine to transform a 5-cent coin into a stamped devil copper for the price of €1.05!

The museum tells the military history of Lithuania going back to the time of pagan tribes up to the present. There is also a section highlighting the rulers of Lithuania. Outside is the Lithuanian Memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Worth a visit if you are a history/military buff.
